I love the classes. Especially Yoga. The limit for the pool exercise is too low. If you need more life guards for larger classes then get move. The water exercise classes fill up within a one minute of going online. More classes or larger classes.

Instructor: Ellen - Pilates- she is outstanding! We want more Ellen! She goes out of her way to create personal connections with her students - she shares anecdotal stories to inspire her students and is herself a incredible human being.
The police officer - always there on Tuesday and Thursdays when I go to class. He is kind to the kiddos but keeps everyone in check. He genuinely seems to enjoy making those community connections while commanding respect from all of us. Love his dedication to the kids. He is always looking around, talking to the kids, never on his phone - texting or distracted like some security personnel (non police officers) in other parts of the city.

Like the low key atmosphere, so unlike the big chains. Very clean, too. Very glad you have a rowing machine.
We do wish there was more room for stretching and floor work.

i feel like the Y is my second home, I'm there just about 6 days a week since my physician advised me that I must walk every day to avoid taking medication for my osteoporosis. in addition to using the weight machines and treadmill, I take advantage of the wonderful lectures there on health. And lastly, there are the social aspects available on games days. I play bridge there twice a week and have seen booth the domino game and mahjong bring more seniors to the tables. Elena Dinkins does a wonderful job on behalf of the seniors.
And the staff as a whole are great-friendly and courteous. There is a new employee whose name escapes me, a young Afro-American who is there on Monday mornings who has been wonderful in helping us set up bridge tables upstairs while the gym floor is being refurbished, She seems to try to anticipate problems and seems always to be available to help wherever needed.
Great variety of classes for senior group. Most instructors are very knowledgeable and pleasant. Major improvement suggested is to improve communication. At times classes are cancelled and we receive good notification. Recently we have had couple instructors tell us they will not be there, and their names are still attached to class. Also couple times when instructors just do not show - primarily for swim class.

Love the classes I participate in which are power yoga, barre and body balance. The instructors are really great.
Do wish you would replace & add more barre balls,add more weights, add more bars and definitely replace music equipment! Those poor instructors seem to always struggle w/equipment.

I love the e-gym! It makes its so fast and easy to set it up properly. I appreciate that the Y is welcoming to young and old alike. Very comfortable.
