My daughter hated math. She felt as though she wasn't smart enough for math. Often comparing herself to her peers and aggravated that she struggled in school. Since beginning at Mathnasium her confidence has grown so much. She's receiving grade level marks and is even eager to try to "math." This has been such a wonderful change for her.
My kids are still relatively new to Mathnasium. My 8 year old has been going for about a month, and my 10 year old for a couple of weeks, and they absolutely love it! I’m already seeing amazing progress, especially with my youngest. At the start of the school year, she was struggling and getting grades in the D range on math work, but now all of her math assignments are coming home with 100%!
What’s interesting is that the material she does at Mathnasium isn’t exactly the same as what she’s doing in school, but the confidence and understanding she’s building at Mathnasium seems to carry over into her schoolwork in such a noticeable way.
The tutors are kind, patient, and really make learning fun. My kids genuinely look forward to their sessions each week. We’re so excited to keep working with the Mathnasium team!

I love how they challenge my son and help him love math. I have seen improvement in him wanting to do homework. The staff is very friendly. They know his name and always greet him by name and make him feel welcomed.
My daughter has really enjoyed her experience at Mathnasium and is feeling more confident in her math class. She also has more stamina to take on tougher problems because she knows she can solve it with some time and effort.
Very happy with Mathnasium. Sometimes, it's hard to schedule my kids, but recently it's been much easier. One thing maybe is if the instructors could occasionally encourage my daughter to bring in her tests or homework from school if she wants. She always has been accelerated in math (due to Mathnasium), so she hasn't had to do that really before. But now that math is getting a little harder at school (she still does very well almost always), it could be good for her to do that sometimes. I think she forgets that is an option.
Our daughter had her evaluation and the confidence they had that they could get her caught up and understanding of the concepts and help her with her confidence has exceeded our expectations. She has been at Mathnasium for 1 month and the growth we have witnessed is fantastic. She is participating in sharing her answers at school and explaining how she got the answer. Thank you cannot beginning to cover it.

Mathnasium's Studio City location has always been super responsive and has helped our son's meet and exceed grade level expectations. They have their own curriculum and will also assist in whatever math you bring in. We are in our 4 year and our boys are in 9th and 6th grade. Highly recommend and flexible scheduling.
Both of my kids go to Mathnasium, and even though they’re in different grades and have totally different needs, they’re both thriving. The team really understands how to bring out the best in each child. One gained confidence, and the other finally feels challenged and excited about math. It’s been such a positive experience for our whole family.
