We're really happy with our son's experience. We believe it's good that he's making use of time during the summer to continue to make progress in math and think this will serve him well as he soon enters 4th grade.
My boys say that math class is easy since they’ve been going to Mathnasium. They are no longer stressed about Math! They love the rewards and the fun activity calendar. The instructors have all been great and the owners are always there to help with assessments, keep things going smoothly and assist parents with any concerns.

If you asked me whether it's worth the money, I would say without hesitation absolutely, if you're going to the Mathnasium in Lakewood. The secret sauce at this site, is the staff.
Jule, the Director at the Lakewood site, is incredible. She has a special way of making something as nerdy as learning math feel fun and exciting. My girls genuinely look forward to their tutoring session, which is something I never thought I would say about math tutoring. Jule and her team make learning math less intimidating and with that, my girls also gain confidence in themselves and their abilities, a great added byproduct.
The entire team is kind, encouraging, and so patient. They always make us feel welcome. They are also incredibly accommodating, especially when life gets busy and I need to reschedule a session for multiple kiddos at the last minute.
Soren is great working with Mattie and challenges him to learn at a higher level.
I love it. The tutors treat the student (my child) very well. Except for one in particular, who was constantly on their phone instead of helping.

I love the personalized learning plans and adjustments that the team is ready and able to do each time my kids hit a bump or are struggling. The team is always open to feedback and super responsive. We have friends at other centers and their experience is not quite the same as ours. My kids feel very comfortable there and their fear of math definitely has lessened. We absolutely love Mathnasium of Palm Harbor. My sister loves coming here and enjoys each of the tutors, the curriculum and the rewards she gets to earn. She has come a very long way in the first 7 months and this has also helped with her reading and her context. We have nothing but great things to say and we love how friendly everyone is.
My daughter has improved her math skills 100% since she has started at Mathnasium. Her confidence in her ability to use the methods of solving problems taught has greatly benefited her in her application of math problems.

The best Math Institute in the area
We have 2 kids going there. They are doing amazing at school in math, a A+B average. They are always running in the front door of mathnasium with a smile. After an hour of doing math in mathnasium, both kids come out with a bigger smile. We appreciate everyone that works at the Mission Gorge one..

From the start of the program I could see my daughter starting t excel in her class. I would mathnasium to any parent that has a child having trouble in this subject. My daughter now loves math thanks for all you have done for her.
Taking my son to the sessions changed my perception about the center and their dynamic to teach math. Hopefully my son retains all
What he had learned 😅 but you made it so easy for him to catch things that would have me taken much of what I could be able to have. I have to also highlight the customer service that Steve, also Ian and other gentleman that were very nice at every session.
We wish to continue, we now have to do our own ‘math’ and see if our son can continue learning more in your center environment.

The director is VERY attentive and accommodating. If I have any questions or concerns he is always available and communicates as swiftly as he can. This program has been just what we needed to make sure the foundations that were not thoroughly addressed in 3rd and 4th grade got addressed. I am noticing my kiddo talking about mental math abilities that she never employed previously based on the work that has happened at Mathnasium. As a busy parent and with the public school system who just doesnt offer any real mechanisms for support this has been so refreshing.
My daughter has progressed so quickly while on this program. You could see the difference after a few weeks, she enjoys it and is so proud of her achievements

Real progress and number sense
So far it’s the only program my kid will agree to go to, and says they are liking it. We like no homework as a selling point to the kid. Just wish you had a location closer to the west side of AA.
