The pool games, the kids really get into it
I love the ymca I signed my daughter up for swim lessons but she is terrified I did bring her to 2 of them but she was having nightmares and A lot of anxiety about coming so for the last 2 weeks I haven’t brought her back and not planning too.. I will probably wait till I can get her private lessons.. but the instructors are great!
The staff makes an effort to know EVERYONE. Very welcoming environment. in this time of COVID the safety protocols are welcomed.

My child really enjoyed the activities. The staff is super friendly and i feel comfortable with my childs safety during Covid.
The summer camp environment created by the YMCA Southwest program allowed our children to safely navigate outdoor activities, friendship, and team dynamics - even while adjusting to the challenges of a pandemic. It gave our girls some much needed summer time fun and normalcy! They are already asking me to book it for next summer 😊

Rorrie House at Southwest YMCA has been amazing this summer with the 6/7s - sending pictures every day so we get a glance of what the kids are doing. It's nice to see the smiles in the middle of the workday. Miss BB and Makayla with the Southwest YMCA 8/9s were great as well. My girls had an awesome summer playing outside and swimming, and it was very much needed after the last year. Thanks for giving them a chance to just be kids again!
My kids are well cared for. They are excited to go to camp everyday. There are fun activities everyday for them to do. The groups are small enough that they get close attention by the counselors. I love it.
Everything is intuitive, simplistic, functional, and convenient. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and hygienic practices are given great attention which is important during this pandemic.
My kids feel safe and loved. The activities are fun, and everyone has been absolutely amazing. The communication is so informative. I dont worry about my kids or their safety at all when I drop them off and have to go to work. The camp counselors are so much fun!!
Only complaint is the operation hours. I hope the hours could get extended until 9pm at least
The staff are friendly and supervise the campers well. My kids have a fun experience every day!

Our granddaughter is completely at ease with her instructor(s) and they bolstered her confidence as well as encouraged her to keep trying and develop her ability to swim. The Y-program has been absolutely SUPER!
The instructor knew a lot about appropriate ways to show kids skills and phrase directions.
