The instructors at the Southwest Y are the best in the city. They are kind, friendly and knowledgeable. They make everyone - regardless of fitness level - feel welcome!

I love the pool! My friends and I meet every weekend & enjoy relaxing in the pool. We also really enjoy the area where we can sunbathe.

We love kids club! It’s so nice to be able to get 45 mins of peace to workout without having to find a friend to babysit.

What do you like best about the YMCA?

The people and staff are very friendly and professional. The facility is clean and you never feel out of place! You can work on being the best version of YOU and not feel alone. Help is always available even if it comes from another participant. There’s so much to offer individuals and families. If you can’t afford it, please speak to someone, there could be financial aid to support your efforts to join. What a wonderful way to invest in yourself. It’s worth it, WE are with it!!

Love Sandy’s Barre/Pilates class! Everyone is friendly at Southwest. They have lots of classes at times to fit everyone’s schedules

What do you like best about the YMCA?

I like the feeling of family when I go to the Y! The people that check us in, the trainers & the instructors! Everybody is so welcoming! I love the friendships that are made in the classes when you are a regular! The only thing I wish they would do is make it more handicap accessible! It’s a long walk dr the parking lot & up the walkway to the doorway!
