I would love to have a simple exercise class during the week around 5:00 about two or three times a week. You have too many pilates and yoga, and that's fine, except I would really love to have a circuit class that incorporates exercise with weights, bands, aerobics and spin. The Y used to have this at the other location years ago. I have several friends that would join if you provided classes like this with a mix. I really don't know how to use free weights and would love to be able to go to a class with a variety of exercises for middle age working ladies that sit behind a desk all day.
It's just a suggestion, but, it would be GREAT!!

I enjoy the facilities..gym, pool, etc...which is why I joined...reasonably quiet facilities and no pressure to socialize or join group activities...
Would like to recommend keeping the coffee facilities going a little longer during the Fall/Winter time...

I think they are very helpful but I enjoy the freedom to exercise as I like.
It’s a family oriented gym but you feel welcomed whoever you are. There is a great variety of types of programs and classes. Just wish the outdoor pool was open longer in the year! Closing it in August is too early!

I love Nancy's water aerobics classes. I've gained so much strength from them. She is amazing, knows her stuff, and keeps you from doing anything that would hurt your body. I have fibromyalgia and her classes keep me going.
The people at the YMCA are very friendly and helpful. I enjoy the classes very much. Such dedicated and knowledgeable employees.

Enjoy Silver Sneakers Stability and Classic workouts...they have helped me so much. I have been sidelined by a vertigo-like issue that is being treated. So anxious to return to a routine I have been participating in for well over a year. I still walk the wonderful indoor track at the Granbury Y as I can stay balanced by focusing ahead and having the railing as a reference.
Tracy Waddell is an excellent instructor, along with Diana Smith who subs for her.

I truly love most everything about the YMCA. For the most part everyone is friendly and courteous. I think over all it is clean and attended to well from the staff. My only irritation is when trainers are in a session and think they have the right to take 4 sets of dumbbells and or two machines. I don't think that is truly necessary when there are people standing around to use them.
