I love the Silver Sneakers Classes at the Hood County YMCA. There are many activities for seniors and those with health issues as well.

Kids activities, weights, machines, racquetball, basketball.... really everything. Can't wait till summer to use the outdoor pool and slide too!

What do you like about our programs and activities?

Everybody has a different need and ability. At the Y all levels are accommodated in exercise classes. Each instructor shows different levels of a move so that the entire class can participate. No one is excluded. I love that I feel successful in the routines I am involved in.

The instructors are great, friendly and energetic. There is a good variety of classes and times.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I like that employees are so friendly and helpful. The “Y” is always clean and the restroom is always clean and smells fresh. I do not love exercising but I enjoy the low sitting bicycles that you can also exercise your arms! And of course I love the tv’s. They help pass the time. There isn’t anything I don’t like about the YMCA!!!

There are classes & activities for all ages.
Instructors are great.
New float belts are very much needed though for the deep water classes. The others have fallen completely apart.
