Pickleball is awesome, need more time😁
Gym is good.
We are in our early 70’s! We strive to walk 1 - 2 miles several days a week! We appreciate the great YMCA facility that we have in Hood County.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
The variety
Love the equipment and the indoor track. People are great.
I love the swim aerobics class with Nancy in Granbury. She is so knowledgeable and such a good teacher. I wish she had more classes like she did before covid.
I come to the YMCA for only one reason. Judy Hamm is the most engaging, candid, refreshing, comical swim instructor and SHE makes me want to continue exercising. She's so entertaining, I hardly know I'm exerting myself.
She knows people by name and is tolerant of old ladies who chat too much, but in the end, we feel she truly cares about us as people, and she enjoys the connection.
Everyone keeps things pleasant and fun and it feels like a family.
I like the variety and the equipment offered. I also like the no pressure or judgement demonstrated by the staff.
Very active and enthusiastic group, always ready to help.
Friendly and talented instructors.
I like the Enhanced Living class.
Water exercise.
Great hours. Clean. Wonderful staff
You have wonderful programs. Like the new equipment. Hours could be longer on Sunday but all is good.
The only negative is no dress code. Some women wear bra-type tops that are very close to bras with adjustable straps. Middle bare. Sometimes the short shorts when they bend over to do dead lifts short bottoms climb right up to. I have commented on this before and am told there cannot be a dress code because someone at one time tried to sue the Y for having a dress code? So it is what it is. Trying to learned to ignore in and stay in my own lane as they say..
The Y has always been family friendly, but this one issue sticks out.
Friendly helpful.
The employees at Granbury, Tx. are very polite and helpful. When there is a new person there they help to show the equipment and the personel how to use it.
PICKLEBALL
Clean
Friendly
Silver Sneakers and gentle yoga!!!
Love the Enhanced Fitness Class!
My husband has been in the Personal Trainer program for years and loves it!
I wish the Y would start a Stroke Survivor program dedicated to folks who have had a stroke and are fighting their way back.
Lots of choices
Great classes and instructors.
Staff and the people
Swimming
lots of variety and for all ages I do wish the old workout machines werent replaced wth newer ones.. Im a senior, 75. I used 10 to15 lbs on some of the older machines, now 20 lbs is starting weight on some of them.
It kind of discourages me frm going to the Y as often. I work till 5pm most days, and miss out on those great silver sneakers classes.
I still think its an awesome Y, i have been enjoying the CHALLENG programs, and the 360' online program/workouts and chances to win a gift certificate. 🤸♀️
I love the many different options that not only I have to choose from, but my family as well. Whether that’s working out in the gym, swimming in the pool, playing basketball or pickle ball, there are plenty of activities to choose from. The kids love the outdoor pool as well.
Good variety, good machines, friendly staff!
There is every kind of program for every kind of activity one would want to get involved with all day long. Different times for different ages, different levels of exercise proficiency and the teachers to teach and explain and empower and motivate all of us with all of those activities!
I’m still trying to learn how to use new equipment. Rest is good

Staff are very friendly. It's clean, and I enjoy going
