Equipment selection and treadmills
My kids are always excited to do the crafts and games in the gym.
I like that it is small and not overly crowded. You have all the machines and workout equipment that anyone could need. Plus being able to use the court for basketball and pickleball.
I like the updated gym equipment, the walking/running path (West YMCA), the truly wonderful staff, the extended weekday and Saturday hours, the fact that you have youth activities (basketball, etc) and the fact that the YMCA seems to be based in Christian values, which this world sorely needs.
I also like the ability to bring grandkids, or friends, for visits. I’m not a fan of the exercise classes on a monitor; I can do that at home. If there were even just 1-3 different classes, just 1-2 days a week, with a good instructor, I would try that.
I love the YMCA at TCC West!
I have always been happy with the classes at the Y till now. One of my favorite classes Defend has been cancelled because of a lack of instructors to teach it.
I wished they had an 8:30 Zumba class. They replaced Defend with Kickboxing which is hard for a 66 year old woman to endure but I will try.
I would love more morning classes starting at 8:30 or 9:00

I love to do yoga every morning
It is updated in the building renovation. The customer service is friendly, and also that it is a small community where you get to know almost everybody.
They are updated with their equipment as well.
I love the weight room and that kids are allowed to be in the space!
I haven’t participated in any programs or activities aside from utilizing the gym equipment.
I like how relaxed the environment is. All of the staff are very friendly. I also like how many programs there are to join, and the quality of the equipment.

I love going early morning between 6 and 7 a.m. to workout. I love the 2 treadmills in the front row. They are very similar to ground traction. I love the 2 spin cycles because riding them is similar to riding an actual bike outdoors! My son loves the other workout bikes with the screens because the various game programs motivate him to exercise.

The Owasso YMCA Learn and Play offers a variety of activities and educational games.
The staff are warm and friendly I like that they appear trained and follow protocol. Wonderful experience! Two thumbs up!
