Quick and easy
This file turned into an incredibly complicated case. Just prior to the original closing date title work uncovered that my seller and his deceased wife had put the home in a life estate in 2002, forgotten by the seller and unknown to the 3 adult children. 2 of the children, and Mrs. Seller, are all deceased. Probates needed to be reopened for 2 adult children both of whom had outstanding debts that were not able to be paid during probate so now had to be settled. One of the deceased chidren has 3 children who are her heirs.
Jessika Schlink & Mickey Easton worked with the outstate attorney who had dealt with the deceased son's probate, and with a local attorney who worked with the deceased daughter's family to reopen her probate and settle her debts. The closing happened 8 weeks after the original closing date....with delays on the part of the buyer's title company.
During this whole process I was confident that ERT would get this done. The communication was great and I'm once again pleased with our continued working partnership.
