Honestly, one of the best things about this job is how flexible it is. It’s perfect if you’re going to school or have a busy schedule because you can really work around your classes or other responsibilities. On top of that, it’s super rewarding to take care of the clients and make a real difference in their day. The staff is really supportive, and it’s a great way to get experience in healthcare while actually helping people. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a flexible job that’s meaningful and fits with school or other commitments. Overall it’s a great place and way more than just a job!

One area I find challenging, however, is the limited human interaction in communication. Most requests—such as shift availability or scheduling—are handled exclusively through text or automated systems. While I understand the efficiency of this approach, it can sometimes feel impersonal.
At times, when messages go unanswered or there is no confirmation that a request has been received, it leaves me feeling uncertain and in limbo, which can be frustrating. Having the option to speak with a real person, even occasionally, would make communication clearer, more reassuring, and more supportive.
