It’s the people who make the difference at Placerville Kamps Propane. I have called them the week before a big snowstorm and requested that they top off my tank and they always come through. This is a huge worry when you live above the snow line. It can be a problem to get service if the roads are snowed in. These folks get it done!

Lower cost but my propane was at zero after 4 calls in two weeks before it was filled it usually flags your company at 30% this time we basically just got filled as it emptied.
I like the fact I can pay every month all year long ,even though my bill comes as a zero due, I always have enough in my account to pay my fill up in the winter.l like that I can pay a fee to lock in my price. I like that I can check my tank level without going out in the cold. As far as I am concerned you guys are doing everything right.

I've always had good service from you guys even one night when it came down from a party and made sure I got my heater and my hot water heater going he was down here about 11:00 I guess he was the manager I can't remember but they've always been really good always there thank you guys Merry Christmas
Quality service
The delivery is always in time and friendly. I don’t know how comparable the rates are, but I am happy so I don’t check them out, however I see that some of my neighbors have changed companies, so I hope you are staying competitive. They couldn’t have changed because of the service!
Everything is fine, with the exception of attempting to order product by phone. "There are sixty-seven callers ahead of you. Your estimated wait time is one hundred sixteen minutes." Really?

reliability and ease
Bob & I are older customers - we like having the ability to call into the office and request our tank be topped off before winter sets in and our driveway becomes too muddy / snow covered to drive up & down without destroying the work that's gone into maintenance. Because they are local, they understand not all of us have concrete driveways and make exceptions for those living in the sticks.
Before we switched to Kamp's another propane company refused to come up until our tank was at 30% & I do understand their position, it snowed and we almost ran out of propane. That meant no cooking or hot water. When they did try, the driveway was torn up & we had to have a neighbor bring up his equipment to fill the holes.
