Not sure how you tell people who are 59 years old that some of the classes may be for younger people (20s and 30s) and that it is ok to wear 1984 running shorts and a tshirt? Not sure if there is a dress code. Staff welcomes everyone by name and offers modifications all the time. Fun and athletic and a really good place to gain strength and more.
I love the way trainers and personal greets you at the front door. It is very nice that it is like a community. Trainers are very nice and provide feedback when needed. In addition the classes are awesome!

Couple things for the Edina studio- it would be great if there was more organization for the bigger weights. It is difficult to put away weights without hitting your toes on the bottom sometimes.
Also- it would be so cool to get those garbage cans with the cleaning wipes that come out of the top (like at bigger gyms). The little garbage cans are distracting when the tops slam- and the wipes bin is always hard to get just one wipe- seems kind of wasteful. Something like this- just for reference. Hope it shows up- kind of long link :)
I just think it would help look nicer in the studios too

Nicholas is a great teacher and provided a great workout. His music didn't appeal to me at all, but appreciate everyone has different tastes in music.

Hello! I love core power very much, I think with the influx of new and returning students and buddy passes, a gentle reminder about no talking in the studio before class begins would go a long way ! ( at all studios) :)
I so look forward to this time and like to arrive a little early to enjoy this, I know for many of us its our favorite part of the day to relax and decompress and "zen out", but chatter in the studio makes this difficult.

Overall it’s been great getting back to yoga while I’m in my hometown for a few months , however have to say very first visit was shortly after the New Year …. As I was stepping out the studio to grab water right before class was to begin I heard an instructor say to another “it’s way too many new people “ in an irritated tone … he did not know I was there when he said it and I get it NYE resolutions make workout places packed for a while… just thought it was rude and like nothing I had ever heard before in my almost decade of on and off with CPY , just like to think of CPY as a super welcoming place no matter how many new people show up , I’m sure he was annoyed and obviously didn’t want a customer to hear that just a note to be careful what you say as an instructor and person who is supposed to make all people feel welcomed
Angel is the best yoga sculpt teacher ever! She is fun, encouraging, enthusiastic, and will guide you through a challenging class with a giant smile! I haven’t done sculpt in over a year and she made my journey back to the mat a huge success with modifications that were safe and effective!! She kicks your butt in the best yoga sculpt way possible!! Her energy and her class makes getting up at 5am worth it!!
