I was very impressed with the warm reception I experienced when I entered the YMCA. The receptionist was friendly and successfully enrolled me very quickly. I believe that her name is
Vickie. She gave me a tour and introduced me to one of the personal trainers, John Vona. He
will help me next Friday after I graduate from Sentara's Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
next Wednesday. I may need John's periodic assistance to keep me accountable. I am very grateful that Vickie and John made me feel so welcome. I thank both of them. I will return next Friday at 5:00 P.M., God willing...

I enjoy all the options available at the Y to exercise my body . I play pickleball regularly with great people, lift weights in a variety of ways, occasionally go for a swim, and I just enjoy the atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and welcoming.

No kid programs and new/gently used equipment. Even had kettlebells of all weight compared to the Hampton Y, which does not have a complete set.
I truly enjoy the senior women's classes. There is a great group of counselors, leading us.

Well managed. Friendly and helpful personnel. Swimming pool life guards do an excellent job.
The weight and machine room is well equipped, quiet, and not overly crowded on the morning i was there. Members were respectful of each other.

The people at the front desk are wonderful! The aqua instructors are great! Allie, Arlyne, Judy, Maria, Mindy and Monique are awesome! The showers have gotten way better ( hot water)! Everyone is nice and cordial and helpful.
