The hours are awesome, the staff is pretty friendly, and my child has fun. I love the field trips and swim lessons for my daughter. Lastly, the parents nights out.
The Y has provided a safe and consistent place for my children for the past 10 years. We have utilized the after school program as well as the summer camps. This year, my daughter only attended summer camp the last two weeks of the summer. But it was phenomenal. Miss Latoya and her staff were kind, welcoming, organized, and loved on those kids like they were their own. The supervision of the campers was on point. I knew I was leaving my daughter in a safe place where she would be challenged to grow. I love that they require the campers to read and rest--both important parts of summer! The weekly field trips were a high point! Next summer, she will attend many more weeks of summer camp and I am already looking forward to it for her.
Additionally, the price is quite reasonable compared to other summer camp programs.
That staff at the entrance are amazing and welcoming. The diversity of equipment, watching the expansion and growth and realizing the friendships that can be made.
The pool, sauna and steam room
Front desk staff are awesome, facility is very clean, great selection of classes, personal trainers are great. I like that there is someone there that I can ask about equipment/ form when needed.
My granddaughter learned so much in the 2 weeks I was amazed by her progress.
I appreciated having three teachers. I wish the students had access to the Yacht Club pool during their lessons. Maybe the whole time, maybe a one day pass of some kind.
Love Holly's yoga class on Monday evenings at the Fort Monroe Y; they are flexible for a wide range of skill levels.
Operating hours are very friendly, staff are helpful and knowledgeable, and facility is clean and well kept!
Haven’t been there yet, but our son and grandson (members in Dallas) were extremely happy with what the Luter YMCA had to offer.
Clean and easy to use. The pool is great too.
Two things I'd like to change. If you are #1 on the waitlist for spin class, you should automatically be notified your are in if someone cancels. It should not be a free for all to try and secure the spot. Allow an experienced WOW participant to sub if someone cannot make it.
