I have serious problems associated with an arthritic spine....and need to keep my muscles strong to protect the weak back. I value the "Y" as a source of all-around help in maintaining my health as I am aging. Also.....since I live alone I value the benefits of socialization associated with friends at the "Y". There is something for everyone......all for the taking!
Great members who take the classes! The Ys concern for our health.
I think the Y is doing a great job keeping everyone safe. I am frustrated that Body Pump classes fill up within 1 minute. I was unable to get into a class that fit my work schedule for 6 weeks! I see patients all day and 48 hours before a class I can't run out of my room to sign up for class. I know this time will eventually pass but 7 people in a group class is so small. Perhaps hold it in a gymnasium or larger room so more people have an opportunity.
I'm not canceling and I will continue to try and get into my group class, it's just frustrating.
I like the water Aerobics classes because it help me Bmore mobile and a great work. So I will be so glad when the water pool open up.
I mostly do swimming, Tai Chi and sometimes the exercise machines. Prior to the YMCA closing I used to swim 5 days per week. Currently I’m only able to use the Schroeder Aquatic Center only 1 day a week. I’m hoping that the Y opens up more opportunities for swimming at both the Y and Schroeder Aquatic Center.

#1 Variety and frequency of group exercise classes.
#2 Great instructors.
Group exercise classes with excellent instructors. Please keep Step Aerobics classes going - a great low impact cardio exercise and much more fun then doing the elliptical or stairmaster on my own.
Variety of programs
I love the YMCA and have been a long time member for over 25 years. I enjoy the personal training programs, then yoga classes, the group exercise classes and the weight training equipment. I also enjoy doing the treadmill in front of the TVs to catch up on my daily news. At this time I am in appreciation for the virtual classes on Ymca 360 and I certainly hope that will continue until the coronavirus epidemic has subsided. If there is a way to continue these virtual classes so that we can remain engaged with Ymca, I would be very grateful. I am not comfortable coming into the gym at this time.

The Y is showing maximum responsibility with precautions in this pandemic. Please keep up the efforts. Keeping the Y open is keeping my sanity. Truly! Love my Body Pump class with either Stacy or Karen.

I like water aerobics and I can’t wait till it’s back again I also like the greeters when I check in there very pleasant.

They are designed for all age groups
The class (yoga) instructors are awesome! They are very patient, caring and informed of their skill set. The machines and weights are plentiful and varied. The swimming pool, hot tub and steam room are the "money makers."
Classes are great! Instructors are wonderful and all the people are so nice.
I like that the environment is family friendly. Great programs at no extra cost.

the variety
things are beginning to look like the Y before the covid crisis and I hope they continue too. I feel more comfortable with some of the guests and staff trying to get back to the way it was before and hopefully continuing to strive to achieve that goal.
