I attend the classes of Zumba and Body Combat. All the classes and instructors are high energy, yet allow for class members to work out at the level of their own needs and abilities while striving for higher levels. The instructors shout out words of directions and encouragement that make the members want to "give it their all" and be their best.

Friendly clean spacious
The Silver Sneakers program provides appropriate exercise for seniors along with healthy socialization for many of us who are single. I have had a physical therapist tell me "If you go to Silver Sneakers Monday, Wednesday and Friday you only have to do my exercizes Tues., Thurs. and Sat. Even the lord rested on the seventh day!"
Very good general excercise area and really good group excercise classes and instructors. A good aray of classes at a variety of times and the lineup of options is well thought out. Excercise equipment is in good shape and provides the tools needed complete workouts. I am a big supporter of the "Y' and its impact on the community.

You have everything I need
We love the availability of cardio and weight equipment, classes offered at no extra charge, cleanliness of the facility, and overall feeling of safety and camaraderie we find at "our gym". Keep up the good work!

Child watch is a definite plus.
Open gym hours are awesome, I love that they open early and closes late. It benefits those of us with busy careers.
I would like to know when Schroeder Drive became part of the Milwaukee Mile and Slinger Super Speedway? The reason I'm asking this is, I as well as many others walk to the Y on a daily basis from the condos next door and have to take the road to get to the back of the Y to enter. We are all putting our lives at risk each day because there are a number of drivers that feel this is a race track. I'm suprised that knowone has been hit or even killed. This goes on all day long. Its really dangerous early in the morning just before day break and at night. What is needed is speed limit signs, or signs to slow down and watch for people walking. What is really needed are speed bumps to slow these people driving their cars down. The speed limit should be know more than 15 MPH through there. I hope something can be done to slow them down.
I love going to the Y and always encourage people to join.

I love the diversity of members. I feel at home at my rite hite Y — I swim daily and adore the Schroeder pool -would like to be able to take a 7a hour swim when staffing improves — I’m a public speaker and storyteller - I’m interested in creating a Y story bank - let’s talk.

I swim at the Schroeder pool at the Y. There is no place like it in the city and for me it is free because I'm retired on Medicare. The lifeguards are wonderful people and the people who swim there are serious swimmers who respect each other's time and reason for being there. I was a member of a club in Milwaukee and was stalked by a man while I was trying to swim .
The staff at the reception desk are so friendly and nice for the most part. I feel like there is a community of people thankful for the opportunities to participate in such wonderful quality of life endeavors.
