It’s big with lots of toys and my kids always want to play there. Great stuff. I like that I can work out while they’re there. I wish that other YMCA would have kids zone too, where there is a pool as well so I could swim. :-)
My daughter absolutely loves going to the child care at the Y! Even when we pass by the facility in our car she points it out and says she can’t wait to go again. I love that she gets to interact with so many children in her age group. The toys and play areas available are clean and plentiful! She often comes home with art work she’s done and is so proud to display it on the refrigerator. For a child who is not yet in school or daycare, the Y is a wonderful place for her to learn, socialize and grow. We love it!
All of the trainers are great at the Bardmoor YMCA! Donna is my trainer and she is wonderful and respectful and understanding of my issues. Mary took me on an equipment tour and she was great too!
I asked my kids today who they have bonded with staff wise— they love playing with Chris! They also enjoy princess and Payton.

Childcare during workout
Really great and super friendly staff, very clean premises, would love something for older kids which I understand is in the works.
My kids love kids zone! They ask for it whenever we are there, even if it wasn’t hat we were planning for the day (like when we come to the pool or have basketball practice/games). My daughter and oldest son love doing crafts and my youngest loves all the toys. Miss Linda was my daughters VPK teacher and she is so excited to see her at the Y!!
Wish the kids zone was open the same hours as Saturday on Sundays!

The staff is awesome, very communicative and my kids enjoy being there. Gives a great opportunity to get my workout in while my kids are in great hands.
I like there is a mix of physical and arts and crafts activities as well as toys for free play and books.
A lot of help is good, the girls love coloring, outside is good. Special thanks to nisha, Katah, amber, Amanda, princess(although I haven’t seen her in a bit, probably schedule), Kalina, Jen.

The KidZone staff Glenda and Naima were there for a pivotal time of our family's growth. Good job, YMCA, for recognizing talent! Now that Glenda has moved, our children still find it comforting to have the steady presence of Naima. Many of the other Kid Zone staff are friendly and engaged as well, though I don't know their names yet. Occasionally, there will be a moment where someone is distracted/disengaged, but that is the rare exception and never "a regular " (i.e. everyday) staff member. Our children when age 3 or 4 enjoy coloring activities, looking at books or being read to, the slide, . Our elementary kids still enjoy reading and coloring. Finally, now that we have one in the "big kids room", she likes it when another child is there to play table ice hockey. Otherwise, she likes to read in there. Thank you, YMCA leadership and KidZone staff! Keeping a healthy balance in life is sure made more possible by your organization.
My daughter and son enjoy the kids zone, they love the outdoor play option and have fun coloring and playing games. My daughter in particular loves the staff and enjoys going to see her favorite kid zone teachers.

Like arts and crafts wish it was more physical activity for 6-7 year old.
Great staff and times of availability to members. My kids really enjoy having crafts available daily and using the tech lab when available. The only thing I'd change is closing the tech lab for camp until 5p when camp isn't even using it for hours.
Everything! The kidzone was our biggest selling point but the pool, splash pad, gym, and all the activites are amazing.
The attendants in the room get to know the kids, and I know it makes my daughter feel special when they remember her name and are excited to see her
I like that staff knows the children by name, it is a very nice environment.
My son is not big enough for activities yet but Annie and Phyllis are so good with him. He is very comfortable spending time in there while mommy works out.
We love going to the Y. Ita great dor the whole Family. The classes are phenomenal and very engaging. As a mom, it’s so convenient to go work out and not have to worry about who is going to care for my kids. The kid zone is great, the kids absolutely love it.

We love KIDS ZONE!! The girls are always so friendly! My kids love being there, and hate to go every time. Tons of fun activities and love that there is always plenty of staff. We love Speer Y!
