Great diversity of programming.
I like the variety, in particular women on weights, pilates, yoga, boot camp. I enjoy personal training - Haley is fantastic. I wish there were more women on weights offerings. Kids Cub is helpful and it would be ideal if it was offered for morning classes!
The facilities are state of the art, the gym is spaciousness and clean, the staff is polite and professional and there are a variety of workouts offered
I like yoga and would like to sign up for a personal trainer for strength training
Great Staff and equipment.
Convenient, consistent, a great value. Friendly courteous staff.
Diverse, great direction and goal oriented
Friendly environment! Classes are fun. Place is very clean and well maintained.
Friendly staff, fresh towels, love the coffee, clean facilities. A few showers were out of order... but other than that everything great!
Varied. Easy access.
Water aerobics
Friendly professional staff
pool and weight machines
I'm just there for the weights and machines.
Easily accessible and clean facility. Towel service. Efficient online booking for programs. What I don’t like is inattentive to repair issues. I reported a door that sticks on court 3 two months ago and was told a ticket had been initiated. Wasn’t fixed. 3 months ago.
Something for everyone. Hours of opening are good and many holidays the Y is open on reduced hours. Friendly staff and nice, clean environment.
Got a lot out of the yoga classes and the pool. Nice YMCA with friendly people.
I'd like to say that I'm elated with the reception area. Not to mention being a newbie to your location and have not had the full experience of the events and or environment as yet. I met and was greeted by Ms. Kayla who went above and beyond for me on my first day. I truly look forward for many more days ahead at The Central Parkway location. Thank you for your high esteem YMCA Central Parkway
Like Pickleball
Mark volunteers and is great.
Jack E. Is also great
I do not live near the Central Pkwy Y, but have visited there twice recently to check it out when I was nearby. It's a great faciliity. Loved it! So beautiful, spacious and modern! I used the exercise equipment in the workout rooms. Love the running treadmill that does not require electricity. Parking is a bit expensive though.
Large variety in workout classes, not too crowded, friendly staff
The set up is warm and welcoming. The staff member that greeted me as a first time member was very helpful and informative. He took the time to give me a guided tour and explained how each room worked (individual, group, etc )
They are varied
Lap swimming at the pool is good. Wish it was bigger.
The new and redesigned weight machine area is very well done and appreciated. Staff is friendly and helpful. Men’s locker room is functional and clean. Overall, Central Parkway Y is a great place to improve my fitness.
I haven't been a part of any programs or activities. But I love the YMCA. I used the pool and swim laps.
Multiple, diverse options.
Towel service
Kind staff
Great equipment
Pool
I like the fact you provide towels and offer a pool strictly for lap swimming or water exercises.
I will take the time to provide constructive criticism regarding the pool.
1) The sign up requirement is ineffective. Virtually every time I sign up, I am waitlisted, but by the time I show up, there are multiple no-shows of people who never canceled. I ask that a no-show with a failure to cancel more than two times in a month result in some form of penalty.
2) The lane lines are visibly dirty. They need to be cleaned. I have raised this concern before.
3) Frequently, the life guards are in street clothes. If they have to jump in the water clothed, this could impede their ability to assist a swimmer. If they take time to remove their clothes, this could also impede their ability to assist a swimmer.
4) Frequently, the life guards are in the office. Even for a brief period of time, this takes their attention away from the pool.
5) I don't think I've seen life guards on phones, but you might want to double check. Pretty sure the life guard yesterday afternoon had an earbud in.
Great members, great staff.

Amy, Jen, and Mary are great instructors.
Access to the thermostat in Studio 3 should be limited to instructors or employees only. Excessive thermostat temperature changes by every one in class just increases costs to the Y, is ineffective at immediate temperature regulation overall, and increases wear and costs of the heating/cooling system. Maybe a notice above thermostat or a cage cover?
