The team at Steamboat Ski & Bike Kare is awesome. It’s a family run operation that spends the time with you to make sure you’re in the right gear. They carry a wide range of equipment and one of the few shops I’d trust to properly tune a pair of skis. Harry (co-owner) is a awesome bootfitter and took great care of me when I cracked a ski boot when I was in town recently. The shop still maintains a good inventory of popular sizes given the current supply chain issues. The shop also has a ski rental & demos on the mountain! I could have used a pint of beer or maybe a bourbon on the rocks while we doing the boot fitting though.. ;-)
Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and my skis were tuned properly!

I love learning & the educational aspect has been priceless since I am a new gravel rider. Will has been so patient & explains bike care & maintenance in very simplistic "language". Very friendly and helpful staff. Was looking for some ski poles, just something cheap to get me on the mountain. The employee that helped me find exactly that. Went into the back room and found something even cheaper than the models on display and in my size. Better value than the boomerang consignment shop up the road honestly
