I bought three bikes, helmets and some other accessories from the Fort Apache store. I had shopped around a few other bike shops, and none of them seemed particularly interested in selling my family bicycles. We worked with, John and Eric, who listened to all our wants and needs and helped us pick the right bikes which were at the price we wanted. I’ve been shopping at McGhies for nearly 30 years, this was one of the best experiences yet. It’s nice to buy from enthusiasts, it’s even better when those enthusiasts aren’t trying to gatekeep.
