The pools! Without Coney Island, my family had no place to enjoy the summer by a pool! That is why we joined the YMCA.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

My doctor recommended me doing some water activity with warm water due to my arthritis so he recommend me the program for seniors. I believe it's senior sneakers which end up being free for me to be able to do some activities there with my rheumatoid arthritis especially the water.

I like how nice the facility is. I do believe the Ninja class for the 3-5 year olds could be WAY better. That’s my only complaint.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

The staff is friendly and the people I am in fitness class with have become great friends. I’ve reconnected with people I never expected to see here in Hillsboro and it is because of the great staff and family like environment that they come to the Hillsboro Y instead of the one closer to them. I’ve lived here for only 9 years and retired for 1 year and the Y has made me feel at home here.
