All of the things: Clean, friendly, great equipment. Would be great if they opened shop @ 5am rather than 5:30, but no complaints.

i like the equipment and use the pool every day. what i don't like is it is not as clean as it should be especially the pool area. the showers are not as clean as they should be - clogged drains, fixtures that don't work properly. the whole place needs a good scrubbing. they just started using a cheap paper towel-- now you have to use twice as much to get the same results so you wind up not saving anything just providing an inferior product.

What do you like about your Y experience?

Variety of fitness classes (aerobic, like cycle classes, and calming, like yoga). A shared space for diverse group of people- seniors, teens, families, young singles.
I danced in Beda's Zumba class as a guest, which got me thinking about joining. Staycie's kundalini class sealed the deal - this is my favorite style of yoga, and it's hard to find affordable classes in this style.

What do you like about your Y experience?

I love the Y! It's a pleasant space to be in--I love the windows, and the staff at the front are always very friendly. I have been really enjoying Ms. Linda's core conditioning class, as well as Body Pump class-- they seem to be growing in popularity so I hope additional classes are added to the schedule. I love that it's a safe space that kids in the neighborhood can go and hang out, and although I don't have children the child care facilities seem great. Recreational facilities should be available to everyone, and the Y does a great job of providing them at a relatively affordable rate. Thank you for everything you do!

What do you like about your Y experience?

I love the friendly and inclusive atmosphere at the Weinberg Y. Everyone is welcome! I don't feel the least bit awkward attending classes and working out with people much younger (and more athletic) than I, or of completely different backgrounds. I also appreciate what the Y does for Baltimore children, whether or not their parents can afford Y programs.

What do you like about your Y experience?

The Y is a different type of gym because they try to cater to the needs of all members of the community, from young to old, gym junkie or novice first timer. They make it possible for a person at any point in their fitness journey to come in and get their needs. Whether it's equipment ad technique tutorials, seminars with Medstar professionals, classes, or activities for children, they make it easy to live a more healthy life.

IT HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO GET YOUR BODY BACK IN SHAPE, AND ALSO THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY NICE, AND THEY ALSO HELP WHEN IT'S NEEDED. IT'S A VERY PEACEFUL AND RELAXING ENVIRONMENT. I LOVE IT.❤❤❤❤

What do you like about your Y experience?

Ms. Ashley has been giving my son individual swimming lessons and he has moved from a red band to a yellow band as a result. We are so pleased as she is doing a great job!!!

How patient the coaches are with the children. I unfortunately took sick and had to get emergency surgery so my child was unable to continue to attend. However, we will sign up again next time.

I love this facility, and the renovations that have been made. I really enjoy the sports leagues for my children, and my children are having a good time participating. Being a Y member and participant, is a great benefit to me and family.

Pool has a large shallow area for pre-schooler and beginning swimmer. Lounge and renovated stay and play are nice.
