Wonderful facility, good business hours, and friendly staff. I wish you would enforce the mask requirement in the fitness rooms. I can understand not wearing one while running, but there are others not engaged in cardio who do not wear them, including staff!

I am a swimmer and the Towson pool is the best pool in the Baltimore area. I am also 7 months pregnant and the reservation system makes me feel very safe.

The employees are friendly and polite. The facility is very clean. I love the water fitness class. It is wonderful to be able to make a reservation for the use of the lap pool. I am a happy camper!

I do like the new water bottle filler located at the water fountains. However, I do have a concern about the water systems located on the work out floor of the Towson Y. I have watched individuals place there water bottles under the water dispenser and it appears that the top of their water bottle, which they drink out of, can come into contact with the water dispenser.
The pool is clean & refreshing!
The Towson Y has been so great at making lap swim a safe and enjoyable time. I feel completely secure when I am there and it feels so good to be back in the water and using all my muscle groups again. Thank you staff soooo very much.
I like the variety of programs, amenities and services that are available for all ages. I also appreciate that they support the local community.
The facilities are clean and functional, equipment is well-maintained, the staff is helpful and motivated. The atmosphere is one of peaceful neighbors. I appreciate the positive outlook and the charitable activities with which the Y engages the community.
We've only been members for 1 week so it's a bit early to answer your question. We're
former members of the Towson Un. Wellness Center and it closed. I'm hoping some of
the adult classes are ones that I'm interested in.

We have always been happy with the service and cleanliness of the Towson Y. The way the staff is handling the post-pandemic reopening has been phenomenal in terms of safety precautions, and responsiveness to our emails and phone calls.
Have only stopped in at the Towson Y to see what adjustments have been made. From what I saw, it looks very good but so far I have not returned. At 82 I am a little hesitant to be around others.
It’s new, state of the art, clean, friendly, inexpensive, Parking is good and not to far from the front door, has a sense of community, hours that it’s open are vast, staff actually look you in the eye, smile and speak clearly, organized and keep the members needs in the forefront.
Family friendly environment with good equipment. Very valuable investment.

I’ve been a member of the YMCA in various states for my entire life. Twenty plus yrs ago when we moved here from out of state I was disappointed at the management, the director and of course the physical building at the time. Since then everything has changed for the better and I’m glad to see how VERY conscientious they are regarding germ control, social distancing, wearing of masks and cleaning of the equipment. Very impressed to see that there is someone always walking around cleaning the equipment thoroughly with disinfectant after it’s been used. These same practices are being executed in the pool area as well. The smaller exercise rooms are closed and so is the child care, but this is understandable for now.
Very impressed with how the YMCA has taken a serious approach to keeping everyone safe who enters and uses their facilities and I’m not surprised.
We have always had a good experience whenever there was a need to ask for directions on the use of equipment/how we should be doing certain exercises etc.. The trainers are always willing to share what they know (unless of course they’re working privately with a client) The check in people are friendly and your always greeted with a smile and HELLO.
Our family uses the facilities on a regular basis, even now during these trying times of Covid 19.
Our personal practice has always been to come directly home from the gym and shower. Now during these times it’s more important not to make a quick stop into the pharmacy or the grocery store etc before reaching home to shower. That’s just something I’ve made a priority. The Y is doing everything within their powers to stay clean and safe and so should we.
We’re thrilled that the YMCA of Maryland and Towson have gone to such lengths to keep the facilities open and clean for the good of the community not only for the physical activities they provide but, how being active affects us mentally as well, and we all need this more than ever. We’ll support the Y however we can.

I love the atmosphere. Everyone one there is so friendly and helpful. During the pandemic, the staff is taking all the necessary steps to insure that we are safe.

I am so incredibly impressed with my personal experience at the Y over the past few weeks, since I rejoined. I am a lap swimmer and you have implemented a perfect and smooth plan for reserving lap swim time - and done so in a way that leaves me feeling very safe and comfortable.
I am equally impressed with the email communications over the past 4+ months, which has helped me to understand and appreciate what a phenomenal organization the Y is .
