I love the salt water pool. It’s a great place to swim laps in the winter.

What do you like about your Y experience?

The Y is such a positive environment. It has taken me years to feel comfortable going to any sort of gym for fear of judgment and because of body shame. Everyone at the Y makes me feel welcome, and I don't feel like I have to have a perfect body just to enter the pool or the exercise room. I also love the Y's non-profit mission and core values, and I am so happy to be part of an institution with such strong, earnest roots in my community!

I have enjoyed every class I have taken at the Y. My granddaughter loved her tap/ballet class with Miss Anna. I like the aerobics class with Karen.

So far it has been very pleasant and rewarding. Only thing I wish I would have known about before going is the discount for being a Baltimore County public schools employee.

I enjoyed the environment. This particular YMCA has numerous amounts of activities for self and the family. I really admired the healthy drink station for customers after a good workout.
