The variety of group classes is outstanding. The space is well suited for individual work outs. The instructors are always super helpful and great motivators.

The personnel at work in the fitness center engage with members in a cordial, professional manner. They not only provide well-informed consultation when needed, they initiate friendly conversation. Typically, fellow members using the fitness center live up to the Y motto. The expertly engineered equipment is in good shape for the most part. Several lockers in the men's changing/shower room need to be fixed (some are in need of replacement lock slots, others are in need of replacement hooks for hanging clothes, etc.). Members who use changing/shower rooms should be reminded to apply combination locks to their lockers for obvious reasons. Although the facilities are often crowded, this is a positive indicator for individual and local population health. Bravo to all Y staff and members for creating an outstanding array of resources and opportunities that attract many county residents. Best regards, Name removed

Great equipment and facilities that are kept very clean. It would be perfect if in the exercise room people (mostly women) would not talk above the noise of the machines. Perhaps putting a npotice on each machine to go to the recepion are where they would be more comfortable with a cup of coffee. It is so bad that i cant deown themm out with my ear phones on and the music at a high level. signs posted randomly in the exercise room has had no affect in the last 6 months.
I like everything about the Y, I have no complaints.
The staff is so good. Miss Colleen is very helpful and she really love her job which makes us so happy that kids also enjoy this play. Really appreciate miss Colleen and her staff. Thanks s

My family and I love the Y in Ellicott City,Md, because the people are friendly and the building is clean spacious and the equipment are well kept.The classes are fun and exciting and the teachers and coaches and personal trainers there really care about your well being and health.My children love the open gym to play basketball and also rock climbing.
