Great neighborhood gym
The early morning employees, Membership (Tramelle) and Pool (Lifeguard) who are there to open at 5 am.
Functioning equipment (specifically the pool).
The Stay and Play is amazing! The staff is so warm and kind. My girls love going there. It is invaluable to have a place they can play while I work out.

So far so good! All the staff have been very nice and welcoming. Love the huge trail in the back. Wish there was more time allocated to recreational swimming though.

Pool empty...no lifeguard I heard... could I be trained to do that? I'm here every day anyway... maybe I should apply for the part time janitor even though I am not the most sociable homeless veteran you will meet LOL
Convenient, inclusive.
I love the Cardio Blast (with Cristina) and Body Combat (with Monica) classes. My family uses the free weights room, elliptical, treadmills, and machines. I like the variety of options for workouts (whether class or individual).

It has everything that youwill ever need in a gym facility: warm pool, lap pool, weightlifting room, rooms for unique workouts, a sauna, including programs that you may be interested in.
The MS Swim program at the Catonsville Y has been especially rewarding!

Friendliness of staff.
It's a great place but it needs a lot of updating. The walls are filthy, the mirrors look like they're never cleaned. The floor is bubbling up in one room and the equipment is falling apart.

I only use the pool but might try using the rowing or elliptical machines. I like the choices of lap times throughout the week.
