Member Testimonials
Ms. Jocelyn is the best!
The counselors are kind and transparent! My daughter has fun while there!
Love the pool, sports, wellness, membership...all the things! Great facility and staff :)
The staff are wonderful and very attentive. It feels very close knit and like a family. I’m looking for safety, cleanliness, and mature adults with high emotional intelligence in a program for my kiddos and I think that’s what we have at Bob Sierra.
Just a great place for everyone.
Clean, good equipment, serious members.
Chair Volleyball, Water exercises, Monthly Wednesday special events, Great staff
Facilities are kept clean, staff is attentive, it’s a great resource for families to stay active and engaged. We are thrilled to have such a great YMCA close to home! Thank you for all you do!
The Staff at Pizzo Y. Mr. Tony, Ms. T, Ms. Nathalie, Ms. Destiny are extremely helpful for my son while there!
We enjoy the hours that the Y is open as it is convenient. We enjoy the gym and the people are helpful and pleasant. The facility is clean and very nice.

The afterschool program has been great for our son. He loves the activities and is always happy when we pick him up.
The staff is very attentive and kind with my child.
Swimming
Need to keep it at 5:30 opening all year long
I like the classes offered. We need anoth STRETCH class on Friday. Maybe another one on Wednedsay.
Need more CARDIO classes to compliment STRETCH classes. Back-to-back. Everyday.
Kids enjoy it and it’s about the only thing that hasn’t risen in price lately.
It’s convenient, I trust the Y to take the best care of my child, as I’ve had good experiences with summer camp. My daughter seems to enjoy it, and has several friends who attend as well.
Things that would help:
Assistance with homework-it’s very difficult to get my daughter to focus by the time we’re both home from a long day.
More outside time-I know they spend a lot of time in the cafeteria and outside play is crucial for growth and mental health.
Great workers!
Organized. My son has fun. Convenient.
I was hesitant with enrolling my kids because I was just not familiar enough with the program. I was nervous about the bus ride (even though I knew it was going to be short).
From the very first week, my kids would always get mad at me for picking them up because they were always having so much fun. They’ve made so many friends, love the activities and time they get to play, but also always get their homework done before they get home (I’m so thankful!). I appreciate the structure, counselor to child ratio, and attentiveness of all the staff, especially Josh.
I love the Y. I have been a member for years since my older boys who are 17 and 15 now where in 2nd and 1st grade. I have my younger children now in the Y and everyone is just amazing. Love the complete staff. I recommend them to everyone.
At this location I only attend the Wed. High Fitness class. For me personally, I would prefer that it was a little more cardio; also, for me, the instructor has the music volume a little too loud, even though I use earplugs. While working on my fitness, I do NOT like working on hearing loss at the same time.
Also surprised that a person has to scan your ID card; this seems a little backward. Most gyms, including other Ys, use a desktop scanner.
Because of the personal interaction with the kids

I would recommend it because it has helped me a lot in taking care of my child.
