It is convenient for parents so we don't have to be at the school when regular dismissal is so early. Kids get extra time to socialize with their school friends who they may not be in class with. The y also provides time and an environment for them to complete their homework.
I really appreciate the assistance provided by the YMCA afterschool program. It has truly helped me manage my work schedule, especially since I do not have many flexible options for after-school care. Having a safe and reliable place for my child after school gives me peace of mind, and I am very grateful for that support.
That being said, I do feel the program could benefit from being a bit more organized and consistent, particularly when it comes to rules and expectations. Clear and consistent communication and structure would make the experience even better for both parents and children.
Overall, I’m thankful for the program and the support it provides, and I hope this feedback helps strengthen an already valuable service.
The Spurlino Y’s staff are professional caring creative people that rubs off on members! They create a caring community that encourages wellness and interaction! It’s a busy place full of activities every day to attract members of all ages to regularly engage in something!

Good introduction for kids to golf and affordable for families. Simple activities that give beginners exposure to the key fundamentals.
It’s always clean and pleasant, I totally enjoy the MindBody classes, I enjoy the water aerobics, and I’m looking forward to being able to expand my strength and add some other classes.

Lots of workout machines,classes for all ages, heated pool,but most of all great employees. Could use a little more parking.
Josh is great with the kids and does an amazing job of providing structure for school work and time for fun!
1- I really enjoy the convenience of having my kids stay at the school so they can do after school clubs.
2- I also appreciate that the counselors enjoy working with my kids.

Lots of yoga teachers are professionally trained at studios that I go to.

It's a beautiful and loving facility. I felt so welcomed, so at home, so easy to flow through the entire facility. So many classes are designed for elderly. My left side joint pain disappeared after one yoga and one stretch class. It motivated me to keep going. I'm so blessed to have such a beautiful, modern, fully equipped fitness center so close to my home. It's well worth the low monthly membership fee. Thank you Lord for such a blessing! I didn't know it's there for several years and I didn't I need it until my son visited me during the last holiday season, and looking for a place to keep his workout routine uninterrupted.
