I love everything about the YMCA. The location for the before and aftercare and summer program at Starkey Elementary is a really good program/facility. The staff are truly amazing and take such good care of my son while he attends. The staff at this location are dedicated to the kids and very informative with the parents. They are also respectful and friendly. My son loves going to the YMCA and loves his YMCA teachers (All of them). Great Job!

Love that the y helps get homework done and also makes room to play.

We like that the school-age program is located at our sons school. He enjoys being active and the staff provide opportunities for that, as well as doing arts and crafts and socializing with other kids.

The School-Age program at Bauder Elementary is outstanding. Kyleigh, Abby, Riley, and Erin are amazing with the kids. All staff are professional, kind and courteous and great with coaching the kids to be safe, kind, courteous, and respectful. When a child is having a moment or struggling with emotions, they are great with deescalating or redirecting the child in supportive and nurturing ways. I'm so happy C and Fi are enrolled in this program.

YMCA after-school care is a great value for the money.

My child enjoys the program very much. She was very introverted at first but not anymore! She loves all the kids and the counselors.

The Oakhurst Elementary staff is AMAZING. They hold high standards, keep the children in line, help with homework, and know how to handle difficult situations. Genee is reliable, pleasant, and feels like family to us. I have had poor experiences at other locations, but never worry when my kids are at Oakhurst.

Mrs Alice is the best.

They are available in school grounds so the children don't have to leave campus. There are activities to keep them engaged and entertained. The hours cover the full work day. Love the availability and full day of activities of summer camp at the y. Been very happy with the programs and have attended for several years now

One negative is some of the counselors have a bad attitude and don't seem to be engaged with the parents or children. This is the minority but would like to see this corrected.

I have been so pleased with the Pinellas County School Age Program this year. It was my first year using a before/after care for my daughter in VPK and it was a seamless transition for all of us. They do such a great job of caring for her, building a relationship with her, and communicating with me as a parent when needed. I would recommend this program to any parent with school-aged children.

The staff was interested in learning about the kids.

Very convenient and affordable before and after school care.
Would wish for more sport and art ctivities to be included in program.

My child is always very loved and taken care of at the after school program at Forest Lakes elementary. Him and I are always greeted kindly in the morning and at drop off. He loves it so much that he asks me to pick him up later.
