I like that you have activities for all age groups. It's educational as well as fun. I also like that it fits my work schedule so I don't miss work.

They were great and always very helpful. Loved they worked with me with a 3 day plan and those days were flexible. Just did not like that the older kids didn’t get to go outside with the smaller kids. My older child rarely got to go outside because of this and the time I would pick up. She did not really enjoy it because of that. Maybe a 30 min homework time so they get outside time would be good. Loved all the activities and parties though and felt the staff was great.

Staff are great with my child, and she greatly enjoys the aftercare program.

The School Age Childcare program at Bauder Elementary offered by Suncoast YMCA is exceptional. The staff are incredible with our kids and they look forward to joining the staff and their friends before the start of the school and after the school day ends so much.

The primary reason that this program is amazing is the staff. They provide a safe, structured, and fun place for the kids to spend time before and after school. They provide a program that allows for homework to be completed, games to be played, playground time, snack time and quiet time.

As mentioned, the staff is why I always give the Suncoast YMCA School Age program the highest marks. Ms. Kyleigh is kind, professional, caring, communicative, and very personable. She is very organized and always plans awesome activities for the kids. One of the things that I'm so proud of about this program is their philanthropic activities for gathering donations to help other families who may need the School Age program or some other program but don't have the financial means to pay for it. The kids rally and Ms. Kyleigh and her team motivate the kids to help out. The staff teaches the kids that philanthropy and helping others is part of what it takes to build strong character, morals, and values and hopefully gives the kids a sense of purpose and community.

Ms. Erin is another staff member who is exceptionally talented working with children. She is so kind and the kids love spending time with her at the school. She is another reason why the School Age program at Bauder continues to exceed expectations.

One of the last things that impresses me most about the program is the consistent accountability and expectations that Ms. Kyleigh and her team expect out of the children. She holds children accountable and she does so in a calm, consistent, and professional way. It makes it so much easier when the school day, school-age program and the home environment are all in line with consistent praise and consequences and that consistency greatly improves overall behavior.

Please give the Bauder team a raise or an annual cash award or something to express appreciation for an amazing job they've done this school year.

Kids learn and be friendly

The School Age program at Bauder Elementary is absolutely amazing. Kyleigh is the team of the group and she does a great job overseeing the program. And her team - Eddie, Abby, Erin (and others I feel like I’m forgetting) are wonderful with the kids. My interaction with the staff is always professional. The best feedback is from the kids. They love getting to their school early to be in the School Age program and they complain when they have to leave in the afternoon so I think that’s the most meaningful feedback. Thanks to the Bauder team! They are the best!

Afterschool YMCA program has been very good for my child. Kayla has been very informative and is on her toes with communication. That has been very helpful to us. We feel very safe with their system and programs.

First and foremost it is convenient for parents that work early, it also is nice because they get homework time, and they are very caring. Ms. Sadie is amazing.

Great staff and activities

I love that you offer before and after car for working parents. The activities my little one tells me about at his program tells me he enjoys being there. The director is great at his school.

School age (before and after care) at CFMS had been a huge help for me (single working mom). The staff has been great except for the changes since Mr. Jon had come on board as the lead. He forces all the kids to do mandatory outside play and this takes 30-45 minutes away from precious homework time. My kid has sports in the evenings and desperately needs all the time after school to work on homework. He is demeaning and portrays himself as a power hungry control freak to the other YMCA counselors, in front of the kids. He is a toxic member of the staff and I hope he is replaced.

We love the staff at Starkey Elementary before and after care! I appreciate that there is consistency and longevity in the staffing and that everyone is incredibly welcoming and helpful!

Extremely convenient for working parents to be able to get child to and from elementary school.

Convenient, it's right at the school

I love that the Y is open when Pinellas county schools are closed so single working moms like me can still work! Also, my daughter has very positive things to say about the Bauder and Orange Grove sites!

I love how engaging they are with the children and the daily activities they provide!

I absolutely love Mr Connor at Gulfside Elementary!! He makes my child and I feel safe and comfortable.He is very supportive and always willing to assist when need be. Ms Alli is awesome too! Always treating us every morning and afternoon with a smile!!! Love them both
