I use the lap pool regularly. It's my main contact point. But it helps me to notice related programs, even though I may not participate in them, including Y-Splash, swimming lessons, and arthritis classes ----- all excellent offerings. I appreciate the cleanliness of the pool area and the changing rooms, and the attentiveness of the staff, particularly Nancy at the front desk, who invariably greets people cheerfully, and helps with all kinds of information and directions

Need to have body combat in the morning class
I am from NJ and new to the area--my husband is here for work with VTech. We were at North Cross the first week and it seemed disorganized and lax in procedures and I had no idea who was actually in charge nor was I allowed to speak to the director of the camp when I had questions.
I was impressed by the YMCA program due to several factors. The pick up and drop off procedures with ID checking make me feel that my child is safe there. I like that breakfast and lunch are included and even though my child is a picky eater, he has found things to eat and not packing lunch for him in the mornings is very convenient. The cost is also very reasonable. I liked that all the health forms and vaccinations etc. were collected prior to attending and that there are swim lessons for Last name removed extra charge, although it seems my child does not like them very much but that may be his own issue. He seems to be having a lot of fun there and complains that we pick him up too early. If I am in town again next summer I will definitely enroll him.
