The programs are designed for everybody -- from kids to seniors. My daughter learned to swim at the Y and she played T-ball and took gymnastics there, my wife and I have worked with personal trainers, and all of us use the workout facilities.
The staff is great and friendly.
Accessibility to neighborhoods and downtown Roanoke are huge pluses for my family.
Even though I don't participate in a lot of programs, the diversity of offerings is fantastic. The Kirk Family YMCA is a true gift to the city.

I am truly impressed by how consistently welcoming and friendly the staff at the Kirk pools are. I can always count on the lifeguards to be not only approachable but answer any questions I have. They are always accommodating and helpful at letting me obtain a lane especially if the pool is crowded. The pool is always clean and reliable. My experience at Kirk has been absolutely wonderful, and I only have great things to say about the aquatics program and staff!

Great place to come to staff are excellent!
A friendly family atmosphere where the staff is very caring and helpful. No matter what part of the facility you use everyone is courteous and respectful to one another. One big family under one roof.
My daughter loves attending YAS at Crystal Spring. She likes the staff, enjoys the snack, and loves having additional time to play with her friends after school. Pick-up has become much easier as well.
