The activities are great. From the tactile Lego table to the crafts table, my son has many choices to engage or relax after a day at school.
Something for everyone whether at the gym in class with a live person or virtual. Also all other programs are good for all ages. Love the ballet program but the monthly fee (changed in 2023) is too high considering this is the Y and what the Y stands for if you want to keep and gain new members.

I love the yoga class (though I wish there were times that worked better with my schedule now, with a baby I can’t make the 6:45 time) and the track and the pool. I would like to be able to use the yoga studio for yoga when there aren’t classes there just to have a safe comfortable space for it.

I love the layout of the Kirk Family YMCA, the friendliness of staff and welcoming childcare area.
I love everything about the Kirk Y, Salem Y, and the Blueridge Y network all together. I particularly appreciate the range of group exercise classes. I love trying new ones and taking a variety. I just tried out the new Karate class at Kirk and it was great - I'm hoping to be a regular at that one and I plan to attend again this week. I also love the barre, body pump, body step, body balance, yoga, HIIT, Zumba, and other classes -- I don't think I remembered them all - the short version is I've really enjoyed all the classes I've participated in.
I like being able to use the pools. More important, I like the YSplash programs for children to learn to swim and handle themselves in the water, because far too many children drown.

I've only went to the chair yoga class. Love it was peaceful and low impact on my knees.

I love everything about the Y program. Summer camp and after school, it's the best. My kids learn to socialize and to do things that they otherwise wouldn't be able to.
We haven’t done any programs or used the outdoor playground yet but we like the pool for our kids, the gym, indoor basketball courts with the track on top, the room with the ping pong table and pool table. It’s awesome my toddler also has a place to play as well. The staff is also very friendly and helpful..In general we’re happy members.
My daughter loves the program and begs to stay till the very end every day. She really enjoys the art projects and making slime
The staff is amazing!! They are patient and attentive. My son loves after school. The kids stay busy, engaged and they have fun while learning.
Super convenient to be onsite at school. Staff is always pleasant & welcoming to kids & families.
Our teacher, Ms Nicole, is wonderful. A new teacher has joined too and they are also great.

Organized, engaging, well communicated
I love how there's so many different options for different types of people and families. I love the 18 and plus locker rooms so I don't have to be around children. And I love that there are specific activities and structures for children. Both ends of that. Spectrum are important and I think that y'all do a good job support many members of the community.
I love paddleball, the machines with the activities on it. The track is nice to walk with a workout partner.

I think All ymcas are awesome. I like how they run and what they offer. At this moment I have no complaints.
