Variety in both types of classes and times
Lots of group exercise classes to choose from, excellent instructors, excellent staff to help you get in shape, great staff at the front desk.
I love the water aerobics- I would love to try line dancing but the only class is at an inconvenient time for me. I also like the outings for seniors!

It's only my second visit, but I'm enjoying coming to this facility. All the staff are so welcoming and very helpful! I would highly recommend the YMCA.
My husband and I love to play Pickleball. We have met so many nice people. We also enjoy the walking track when the weather outside is bad.
Really enjoyed playing Pickleball for the first time. I like that every Monday they have a lesson for beginners and the friendliness of those who participate. I enjoy getting to use the weight machines and the variety of workout equipment.
They include the entire family I’m a grandfather I swim during the week and often bring the the grand children to activities in weekends.
I like that everyone is nice and understands when you are new.
Employees and Y members are warm and friendly. It makes you feel so welcome and part of something bigger. I love the classes in the pool and the instructors. I recently did the trip to the zoo and had a great time. I hear there will be more trips and I plan to go. I’ve made so many friends through the Y. A bunch of us from Mary’s pool class, Monday and Wednesday night, met for lunch on Saturday. We LOVE Mary and have so much fun!
The programs and activities appeal to a wide spectrum of membership and in particular are very supportive of comraderie and fellowship among the regulars. Coffee in the mornings is a big plus

I met with Emma for the Coach Approach program for the first time. She presented as knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. She went over the program that she felt would be a good beginning for my age and interests, making sure I agreed and understood the goals she set for me. I was very happy with our meeting!
Many options to choose from to keep you engaged and motivated. Spacious facility so you don’t feel crowded.
Love the group exercise classes and the camaraderie of the participants and staff. I really love the Zumba classes. They are so much fun that you don't really realize how much exercise you are getting. Allows you to tone quickly. (Thanks for adding more zumba classes!) The instructors are friendly and supportive. They give wonderful encouragement and provide the tips to make sure you understand the moves and variations for new people or those with mobility issues. Favorite instructors are Megan, Ashley, Joanna, Julianna, Jazzi, and Shimmerah.
I also like the spin classes, cardio drumming, and aqua hiit and aerobics classes. Gives a lot of variety to what you can try and see different styles of exercise. I even Iike to see how far that I can push myself in the YFit classes. I may not be the typical bootcamp participant but the format allows you to work at your own pace. Todd is funny and encouraging and shows you modifications. Also like Barbara and Diane in the water. (However, Mary aggressively called me out in her class and I will not go back.)
Since I gained confidence, I am not afraid to use the weights and equipment in front of others. This can be particularly intimidating for older women who aren't in prime shape to use the free weights in front of other people. Anything you can do to encourage them would be helpful.
I was even able to convince my teenager to join and have them come with me. They used the treadmill with headphones while I attended group exercise classes.
The price is high but I like the variety of group classes and formats available. I also like that the YMCA uses. Their resources to help other people in need.
I really like the Coach Approach model. It has gotten me into strength training, and I’m feeling stronger each week…not to mention how much better I sleep at night.
Great place to work out.
I love to do the walking path, the machines, my most favorite is water aerobics. If I can't get to a class, I grab a lane and work out. Love the dry sauna and whirlpool.
Love the YMCA for me and my family! The kids love the childwatch and programs and I get my gym workouts in!
I enjoy the yoga, Pilates, and cardio strength classes.

I like that’s it’s never “too” crowded and I can always get in the workout I want. I would ask for 2 more benches in the weight area.
