I love the classes and friendly environment.
I enjoy the Zumba classes a lot. The instructors are friendly and fun, and the music and moves feel more like an upbeat party than a workout. I've made lots of friends with the other women who attend the classes in the main studio, and I love the diversity of the McCleskey Y. It's great to work out with people from all ethnic and racial backgrounds and all ages and walks of life. It feels like family there, and it's why I keep coming back week after week.
There are a lot of different classes for adults and kids, with very good, patient instructors. Everyone is made to feel welcome and safe. Every class that I have attended is lots of fun, and I have met a lot of wonderful people in the process. Also, the staff at the Y is extremely friendly and attentive. They ensure that any concern is addressed immediately, and are more than willing to help out however they can. This is one of the best YMCA facilities I've been to (across a few cities in the US). Love it!
Swimming and swim lessons for my son.
I love Barre classes and any classes taught by Danna! I will say it would be good to add some more bars because they run out quickly. The childcare center is also great. We love the YMCA!

What I really like is the steam room your facility is the Olney exercise place in the whole city of Atlanta that has one

Our gym is so clean. Love the facility. Great programs that help the community-summer lunches, backpack/school supply drives, and soccer/basketball programs for special need kids.
We enjoy the indoor pool, and basketball court
Family oriented
The facility is manned by friendly and helpful staff. Questions are quickly answered as they usually always treat members with respect and assistance. The facility is kept clean and equipment is quickly repaired and/or maintained. There are plenty of bottles of cleaning solution and towels for wiping down the equipment after use. Now if the members would pay attention to using the cleaning solution and towels after each use, the situation would be even better..
Overall I give the Y high marks and I recommend it to friends and family.
The wide selection of offerings and making available to all even needing financial assistance.

Variety
The classes are great, facilities are great and childcare is great. My kids sometimes ask to go to the gym, ha ha. Being a part of the Y has been a much needed catalyst in getting healthy again after kids. I love being a part of the community there and what it means.
The quality of the programs, and how well the staff interacts with both children and adults.
I like the facility. I would like to see outdoor track to keep it obstacle free and safe to walk and run.

Good programs and facilities but at times the Y tries to have too many, becoming congested.
I did like your senior programs and activities but LeAnn's leaving seems to bring some changes that suggest these programs are decreasing in priority as evidenced by the August flyer. For example, activities that were free for Y members are going to cost and the number reduced. Also, the information on the back of the flyer was confusing, focusing on ''over-hydrating", not something we are likely to experience, especially active seniors. Just my thoughts!
I do love the water aerobics program and the great staff who help with the exercise machines, especially Missy!
