I love the pool. I took swimming lessons there which were life changing. I haven’t participated in other programs or activities there
Great classes and instructors.
Everything at the YMCA is awesome! We love group fitness classes, the free weight rooms, play center and parents morning out!
Enjoy the gym and the classes, everything is wonderful at McCleskey-East Cobb
Great instructors, great variety of classes and activities.
Just had first class!
I love that you offer unusual classes like stretching, yoga and tai chi and not just aerobic classes. Instructors have been great, but please don't have a stretching or yoga class moved to the racquetball courts. The floor was really sticky!
Hours you are open very nice.
Wide variety of workout machines and classes.
Love, love, love water aerobics with Marian and Crystal!
The instructors are very knowledgeable and you provide many class choices
They offer something for everyone.
The Y isn’t just a place to work out
You make friends you look forward to seeing
I absolutely love the water Boot Camp/water aerobics on Monday, Wednesday and Friday with Marian and Chrystelle. They are amazing and an excellent workout. I also enjoy the Thursday water class as well. There are several of their classes like the dance class and the bar class that are also great. I love the variety of classes that the YMCA offers.
I love the pool activities. I’m in the water 5 days a week! Marian, Crystalle, Cindy & now Danna give great water workouts.
As a new swimmer the instructors & regular pool community have been so supportive in my journey. I’ve met wonderful people at the Y. Not to mention the staff members are kind & professional.
The teachers and class options
Friendly, clean environment. No testosterone fever or eyelash sweeping. No pushup bras or thong leggings. I like the relaxed atmosphere. Staff is very willing to be helpful.
I am 85 and have been hitting the gym regularly since 1956 in my high school football days. I’ve come all the way through Cagles, where the powerlifters spit their chaws in the corners, Healthplace, where good manners rule to L. A. Fitness where the testosterone and lipstick rule.
The yoga and Zumba are at my level (junior varsity) and I do my weights at 24/7 on Whitlock on Monday Wednesday and Friday. I have found a new home for my Tuesday Thursday and Saturdays and I am very pleased.
The weight/treadmill room is usually quiet, allowing me to think without loud noise or music. The equipment is in good condition and clean.
Classes, treadmill and workout machines.
Excellent, knowledgeable and personable instructors including Marion, Chrystalle J, and Nausheen Q. Sherry at the front desk is so nice, helpful and welcoming. Mark the lifeguard is also very professional and hardworking!
The people who work there.
