Friendly, pro active staff
I go to the Y at 5:00 AM. The only programs you offer early morning are on Wednesday and Friday with Jodi, and they are amazing.
We are asking to have pilates or yoga on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 5:00 AM.

I primarily only use the pool to swim 2 or 3 days a week.
We visit 3 times a week! I visit the pool, I love Marilyn's water exercise class! Now my husband will sometimes come with me.! Wednesday is as good as the Monday class. Now we also visit Friday's class. My husband uses the weights, I want to do that too!We love the YNCA!
Great equipment. No waits. Clean. Pickleball & open gym. Love the lap pool availability. Good web scheduling for classes. Class variety!

I really am enjoying my new membership. My goal was to start strength training & with Sam’s guidance I’m off to a solid start. I’ve also signed up for swimming lessons and also took a few cardio classes. The Y offers such a variety of options to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The staff are really helpful and nice.
I love the sense of community! I have belonged to other gyms and they do not compare to the YMCA in this regard.

Please fix the treadmills/stair climbers/elipticals at the NE YMCA. Several of them don’t work or do not have TV
I went to use the pool while the Northwest Family Y pool was closed for maintenance. Everyone was pleasant and helpful about helping me to find my way around. The facility is clean. Great Y!
Some things at the Northwest Y that are not at McCleskey-East that are helpful are:
Grab bar in the shower
Shelf in the shower
More hooks in the dressing room

Coach Approach! I met with Shivi who listened to why, for the last 20 years, I have not been able to get into a routine to do upper body. This included how to start and not stop, something manageable and accountability. Shivi and I agreed on what my workout goals would be, and we already have a meeting set up to keep me accountable! My big goal is to have more weight bearing exercise, besides walking, to keep me off medication for osteoporosis.... and the really amazing piece... is that Coach Approach is at no extra cost with my membership.... I will let you know how I am doing in 3 months... just keeping myself accountable :-)
I've been a fan of the yoga classes for years. The gym is simply amazing with an indoor track, sauna, and more!
I love that I can watch Netflix while walking on the treadmill.it makes the time fly by!

The YMCA is a safe and friendly workout facility for swimming laps exercise equipment and walking trails. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful for specific exercises.
