How many options there are and how well organized it is.
I love that programs are so organized. If I have a question and call, there is someone who is kind and willing to assist.
I did have a previous issue with the child care center when I attempted to leave my kids to work out. I spoke with Sha’dae and she reassured me that was an isolated incident— and she was right. I have not had any problems since then.

Programs and classes and services are available so that a person/family man can tailor them to fit and make excersise a part of his/their life style.
Leah’s cardio strength class on Mondays is my favorite class and I try to go to that when possible. It’s amazing both men and women of different ages try hard to make that class. Also I am glad the dividers that I found so unpleasant are mostly gone from the room with machines. I spend more time in there now. I would be glad if the McKlesky Y could offer more Pilates or a class similar to Pilates, with good core work and stretching. Linda could teach it. I have been going to the evening Pilates class with Misty at the other Y in the evening. That Y is farther for me. Also it would be nice to have some functional fitness classes too. (Like other Y). I realize people probably request many different things and it is hard to schedule everything. I do enjoy the MCKlesky Y a lot. So glad there is coffee available now. I think it will gradually pull some people back
I like the salt water pool and reservation system for signing up for a swim lane at a specific time of day
Wide range of acvitities, great range of equipment and large number of exercise programs to pick from.
A variety of classes with excellent instructors. Clean facility;friendly staff.
Variety, great Familia drinks equipment and most importantly PEOPLE! Y folks are the best!

Cons: Limited number of strength training equipment, especially for abdominal workouts.
The enthusiasm and friendliness from the instructors and everyone who works at the Y.
I have been a member of YMCA since 1997 with my primary focus on water exercise classes. The variety of programs available to all ages & schedules is a favorite. All staff members are friendly & professional.
My husband and I visit two times a week. We really enjoy the jogging track, every 5 X's around my husband pretends he is going to catch me! We do this for twenty times and then go downstairs, for the weight machines. One of these days I want to go into the pool. I will see if I can talk my husband into it. If not, I will try. Thank You for such a wonderful YMCA! Marty and Jan Last name removed., You know my husband retired last year, he is going to be 72 on the 26th of September. And August 5, I turned 70 years old. Do you think we could reduce our monthly payment. We are trying to manage our budget without the job payments. SS is not as good as we expected. It does cover most of our monthly costs We are thinking perhaps we may get a part time job in the near future.

Great place to work out
I've only been there once so far, but I appreciate that the locker rooms have changing rooms with benches inside. It's more comfortable for me to change with some privacy.
Kids activities and reasonable pricing
The Instructors are qualified and very pleasant and kind to participants.
I like cardio on the bikes and ellipticals. I enjoy the pool, the hot tube and showering at McCleskey.
I am retired and can go at any hour, especially when working people are NOT there. There are many varied equipments with which to excercise. There are free classes. And a pool. Friendly people. And a discount for veterans.
