As a person living with a social anxiety disorder I appreciate the small class sizes many of the group activities. The ability to utilize a lovely pool where the opportunities to met new people is always present while still maintaining my personal space.
The Coach Approach program. There are a variety of classes and activities that focus in the wellbeing of the family and community at large. I enjoy my zumba classes. Thank you for investing in Newnan.
i like the activities, they are fun for kids. I would attend more often if summit has a steam sauna room. it helps in many ways with those that have breathing problems; it provides moisture to the skin, allergies, etc. the other sauna is ok. programs are fine I only come there to swim only. activities are fun which I bring my grandson too, but I don't participate in them. would like to see a inflatable slide since most of them not allowed to do the diving board. I like the Fowler Y cause they have both types of saunas, and the Summit Y as for programs. .
I have been a member a long time. I enjoy having the freedom to come work, cardio, or the track with no pressure of feeling insecure about my body. The changing and restrooms are clean.
Love the staff and variety of programs and classes for our family. I have noticed though that several of the 8:30 classes are becoming too crowded. I would like to see more options added during that timeframe.
A variety of programs available and plenty of exercise equipment.
I have participated in a variety of programs over the past two years (swimming lessons, water aerobics, personal training) and I found instructors in each category to be friendly, well-trained and effective in helping me accomplish my personal goals. I now count the Y as part of what I do to help improve the quality of my life.
Workout classes, however they have been getting overly crowded recently and there is not enough equipment for everyone.
My routine is quite simple. Treadmill with machine weights upper/lower body rotation by day. Will be adding swimming to the mix and will slowly extend the time for each work out. That's really it for me.
But I have noticed how well the Y is ran. I consistenly 'clean' the building stays (outside and inside). How polite and friendly the staff is. How comfortable people are form al walks of life. That is why I will recommend the Y.

Great value for the money, family friendly atmosphere, clean and well maintained facilities.
All the Personnel that works there. Very informative and easy to approach with any question. And the location is always clean. I feel very comfortable with the surroundings.
Love the choices! The staff are awesome - they are always ready to help and work with you when you need it!

You have many programs and activities for everyone in the family.
So far I have only participated in the water aerobics class. It is wonderful.

The instructors are all wonderful. They show alternative ways and encourage me. All of the staff especially the long term staff are very caring and professional. I wonder if they are appreciated for their real worth. They certainly are by me. There is only One Mr. Carl, Ms Jean, Jenny and others. By the way, I miss "T" I will ask about him when I come again.
I like the cleanliness of the Y.
Parking is poor at times, who wants to park at the bank?
I like dancing and water aerobics. They are my favs.
It's a blessing to be a member at the Y.

Only criticism...they need at least ONE swim lane for lap swimmers in the EVENINGS that is not shared with kids wanting to play. Swim team has only 3-4 kids per lane. Ridiculous.
