I love the parents night out. I wish they did more physical activities and did not watch TV. We bring them to the Y for activities not screen time.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I like the varieties. However, I’ve been disappointed in the handling of the yoga program. We had the most wonderful instructor Lauren who was told she had to leave bc she didn’t finish “the ymca yoga protocol”. She’s certified in all things yoga in the outside world and it makes me sad that there aren’t options for the ymca to give instructors a way to opt out if they reach the qualifications in different way. Now her class has been filled with a stretch class.

I like the group exercise program because the instructors don’t have to follow a canned routine, I.e. Les Mills.

Rooms used for exercise need to be dust mopped after each class. Floors could also stand to be refinished

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I like the variety of programs available to everyone. Being a senior citizen, I enjoy the workout machines and the track. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating.
