Strength training classes
I love the family vibe, love the staff especially Kellie with coach approach and Rebecca with yoga.
My grandchildren are taking the sim lessons. The staff is very sweet and patient since they are both young and the oldest has special needs. I thank them for their patience.

You’re very fortunate to have someone like Miki. She is so enthusiastic. Has so many different exercises for every part of the body. It’s amazing there are new ones every day and you don’t think you’re getting work out till you start dragging around the rest of the day
Everything is very clean and neat. He must be doing something right because it’s always very crowded which is wonderful. There are so many workout machines and always being used.
So far I’m only taking yoga, but I enjoy the classes very much. The teachers are excellent and the other folks in the classes are friendly and welcoming. The staff members are also very welcoming and helpful.
I like the friendly atmosphere at the Cowart Y. It's not uptight. Very casual. I love the pool and swim around 3 times a week.
Staff is great.
My only complaint is the women's locker room. The refresh was needed. However, the locker situation is truly sad. There is no privacy to be had. The original setup with the lockers in a row at least afforded a place to be hidden from the door. As it is now, there is ALOT of wasted space and the 'open' format doesn't please anyone. We all wish the layout was back the way it used to be.
I've only been there two times for a water exercise class. The instructors were kind enough to explain where the dressing rooms, showers, bathrooms, are. It would have been nice to have had a tour of where things are. I still have no idea where all the other classes are to be found.
The gym area is the best in the area. They do a great job keeping it clean organized and cardio equipment is always working.

I primarily use the gym equipment for my workout at the Y. I like the fact that the Y is kept clean with good shower facilities, and the equipment is kept current and in good working order. What makes the big difference about the Cowart Y is the staff. They are outstanding, friendly and helpful! Matt, Quintin, and Micki bring a smile to my face every day I see them.
The facilities are always in great condition. The staff is always friendly. The group exercise leaders are awesome especially - Rebecca, Jae, Ana P, and Jacqueline.
