...not just in the Metro Atlanta area, [I travel extenstively] However, the best I have encountered thru out the entire U.S. Lower 48 States & D.C.

1. No long waits to use the strength training equipment;
2. access to several basketball courts [almost at any time of day visit];
3. GREAT Steam Room and very hot sauna;

My daughter attends the Early Learning Center. The staff are Awesome! Very helpful and Attentive. I feel safe leaving my child at AWY YMCA!!!! ❤❤❤❤

Diversity is everything. There is no other place that contains a swimming pool , steam room, sauna , and whirlpool. it is good to see so many young people involved in positive programs.
There is a variety of classes offered at convenient times
I like the people and the equipment. However, I am upset that you all removed the stairmaster. please bring it back.
I like the aerobic and weight areas. I think it would be great to have more group classes.

At this time what I like is the pool because I haven't explored the other possibilities yet
I really like this YMCA, the staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The group of women that I met at the "Y", I will just call the (OLG) Old Lady Gang are wonderful, very uplifting, encouraging and very serious about the classes that they are involved in.
I came in expecting to find maybe one of two women my age who were swimmers and taking part in the excise classes to my surprise there are many women(older) of color taking part in swimming and many of the other excises.
The myth that Black Women doesn't swim needs to come to this YMCA and watch these women who are in their 60 and 70+ swim laps.
I was overjoyed, to say the least, and even though I live in another surrounding city, I love coming to this Y to take my swim and my yoga class. It is a pleasure to see the ladies and participate in the activities with them.
My swim coach Mr. Illonga is WONDERFUL!!!! he has the patience of Job, I am so happy that I decided to come here and take classes not only do I take the swim classes I take yoga.
I also decided to join this Y. I am very impressed with the programs and the staff here at Andrew and Walter Young YMCA
