The personal is not welcoming at all and always in their phone , don’t evening look up when pass the card , the showers smell e de ally bad. Not clean and never see any cleaning people there . I am wonder how can the YMCA can be so different.

I love everything about it but specially the good vibes, the people, the smiles. It is not like any other gyms I have been to. Here you feel a sense of belonging, a team.

I am new to the Decatur YMCA. The walking track is awful as it is not a level surface, I became dizzy trying to walk on it. When I joined, I was looking forward to taking my walks. I am totally disappointed.

I love the pool. The life guard is always friendly and keeps the pool clean.
I like that you offer gymnastics for the young, who are very eager to learn. The time my child was in the program, the instructor was very patient and kind.
Diverse programs and multiple locations. Would like you to add more Pickleball clinics and times for working members like myself. Would be helpful to add Sunday and Friday hours.
The instructor acknowledged newcomers and took time to show the techniques to Tai Chi.
The staff is very nice! Stephanie and Terika at the front desk helped me worked through an issue and even took down my contact info to have someone else follow up with me later when we weren’t able to resolve things. The weight room staff is also very kind as well as the childcare area. My family loves this location!
