Great program!

My kids have been in mathanasium for few years now. Chris and all of the staff are amazing, friendly, understanding, supportive, and professional. Not only they have the expertise to their subject matter but they also are well prepared to tackle day to day educational life with covid.
I have enrolled my three kids and i am fortunate to see their great progress, and enthusiasm in building/ learning math skills . Mathnasium staff contributes a lot to my kids success in math.

The instructors and the owner Chris are so responsible, responsive and extremely helpful. We recommend any student having math troubles to sign up to get ongoing homework help and keep up their confidence in math!

Great place for kids to learn math .

We like that the flexibility. Being able to have either online or in person classes has been very helpful for us. Our daughter seems to be having a positive experience which is nice because she likes math and we hope to keep it that way. She’s enjoying the classes. The challenge is that she’s so far behind but we are feeling optimistic and believe she can get caught up with your help. Thank you!

We have a very positive experience at Mathnasium. My 7th grader has been attending Mathnasium Alameda for 3 years and he looks forward to the continued support he receives at every session. Mathnasium meets students where they are, and cultivate their strength in problem-solving right off the bat, by assessing their skills and building on those skills. My child is motivated to work hard, and if he's ever stuck with a problem, he can rest assure that he will get the support he needs to understand the problem and advance with the problem-solving skills, provided by the one-on-one instruction. The staff is very friendly, patient and welcoming; so not only does my child frequently goes in with a smile, he also comes back out motivated and content, frequently boasting he had worked many pages with the help of the tutor.

Chris provided detailed information about the process and plan. My son enjoyed each instructor he worked with and progressed along the plan nicely. Doing Mathnasium for 6 months helped my son establish (or re-establish) some math foundations, as well as get him up to speed with his grade-level.

Always responds quickly to any concerns or rescheduling lesson times. Very professional and talented staff. They really care about the students learning and understanding mathematics.

Me and my daughter so satisfied math class with Alameda Mathnasium. Really professional and friendly coaches. Sent me my daughter’s progress report so i knew she is good hands.

During the pandemic, Chris and his team of engaging young tutors have helped both our 7th grader and 4th grader. We are so grateful for their talents, patience (with us, too), and excellent customer service. Thank you, Mathnasium!

On a side note [no need to share this with the public], we find the scheduling program difficult to use with multiple children. we've had to contact and recontact the office to help us navigate several times. Hopefully in the future this can be changed. It is a lot of money for us to spend and given the multiple stressors in our lives, this calendaring program leaves a lot to be desired from a customer's perspective.

I have seen incredible progress with my daughter since she started at Mathnasium. Math had been a source of huge frustration with emotional outbursts of “I’m bad at math,” and I haven’t her say that in a couple months. I’ve also noticed that when a math problem arises in real life, she will attempt to figure it out rather than throw her hands up in the air like she used to. Mathnasium is saving us, especially during the pandemic and online learning.
