We love Marissa! Mathnasium is so flexible. Everyone is so kind and patience with my daughter. My daughter has grown so much in math.

My son started Mathnasium (Alameda) in 2020 as a 2nd grader and has progressed well. We received his STAR assessment in Math this year, and we were pleasantly surprised his math knowledge was trending at a middle school level for the state.

Everyone at the teaching lab has been great. They are cautious with COVID and cleanliness, which we appreciate. Next year, we will be sending our daughter when she enters the 2nd grade. Thank you, Mathnasium.

Mathnasium has helped give me daughter more confidence to tackle math problems.

I'm pleased to recommend Mathnasium for any students whose confidence with Math is low to high, and anything in between. My middle schooler has been coming to Alameda Mathnasium 3 days a week, for almost 4 years, and is motivated to work hard because Chris, Min and the tutors are kind and welcoming to everyone. With an exemplary work ethic and attitude, Mathnasium tutors consistently show a strong sense of empathy, and take their time to support my middle schooler from week after week.

First, Mathnasium does an excellent job monitoring the students’ progress, and the report cards are emailed to parents monthly, which includes a detailed plan on what’s completed, what’s being worked on, and what’s up next.

Second, Mathnasium tutors show a strong sense of responsibility for my middle schooler and are fantastic role-models. Mathnasium tutors are competent and utilize different explanations/methods to support my middle schooler. Not only do they go through the Mathnasium curriculum thoroughly, they also allot for time at the end of the session to help with homework.

Finally, Mathnasium tutors work at a pace that keep my child engaged which gives me the peace of mind that it was time well spent during the tutoring sessions. They go through a good number of exercises and helps ensure my child can problem-solve on his own after the session.

After a month my daughter is doing math on her own and sitting down and doing math without being asked. She also enjoys going and doesn't see it as work. I love the analysis that is provided of her progress as well. I already see a change in her.

I would definitely recommend the in person over online. There seemed to be a delay in the response online. Also, a variability in attentiveness between tutors online.

It's been helpful so far in my daughter's life and I do think others could benefit from it.

My boys enjoy the awesome incentives that they have at Mathnasium. They are thrilled when they get to spin the wheel to see what they get and trading in their cards for prizes. This is great motivations for the kids to learn! 👏

It is great how they send the parents a progress reports on how your kids are doing ~ breaking down in details which section/areas they did well or need improvements in.

My older son came home 2 months ago from school and said “Mommy, we did something in Algebra class today and I’ve already learned it at Mathnasium 3 weeks ago.

Teachers are excellent in working with my kid on reaching her goals and Chris the Director is responsive and very helpful!

Kids have fun and love the motivational giveways they can earn.

Marissa is wonderful! My daughter only wants to work with Marissa. She says Marissa is the only one that understands her math assignments

When my daughter first came to Mathnasium, math was a subject she needed help with - but as instructors worked with her over the months, she not only got better, she came to love math and eventually entered her freshman year in advanced math.
I highly recommend Mathnasium for any kid at any level in Math.

My kids had some real foundational "holes." Mathnasium is diligently addressing these rough places which, in turn, is reflected in their ability to understand and enjoy math in school.
