Student Testimonials
I started at the La Mesa location. I enjoy the flexibility of the two classrooms and times. The instructors are great.
This is my favorite studio in SD. It feels the most at home. The staff is amazing. I take Mark Ballers class and it is so empowering, uplifting, and opens your mind and body. The Flow is hard to beat as he gives you so much time for creativity and to surprise you of your bodies capabilities. Such a great challenge. The studio is so community oriented and wants to build you.
Teacher is very excellent. Temper is good
I love the intensity behind each yoga class, the way the instructors are very friendly and helpful, and the overall community behind CorePower Yoga
A great workout with friendly, helpful instructors in a calming environment.
It's soooo easy to book, and every studio is not only consistent, but thoughtfully planned and designed to make it super efficient. From offering locks for the lockers, to providing rentals and equipment so we don't have to haul everything from home, it makes going to yoga class so convenient.
The combination of yoga and exercise, the format of the different sequences. They are all different and complement each other. The CPY Studio is a "one-stop-shop".
Justin and Matt were incredible! I was from out of town and on vacation and I really enjoyed both of their classes! Great work and great atmosphere!!
Teachers are awesome, particularly Julie, Yanina, Tatum, Erin, Jazel, Ellie and Nundhia. Yoga sculpt is the best overall workout I’ve ever had and I also love power fusion interspersed.
Katie is the best.
The studio was closed for 3 months and doesn’t look (or smell) any different. Maybe some signs saying what changed.
The instructors are wonderful. I really enjoy the community there and the workouts
Madison was great! The exercises were hard but doable and I felt accomplished! Her music taste also slays
Great C2 Jordan helps push expansion, new growth, and is a really challenging Great class- enjoyed very much.
I love everything about CorePower. Ihave fully enjoyed my first two months and have loved all of the classes.
I went to the Yoga DJ class night and it was wonderful.
Great class.
The instructors (most of them) are very nice and caring. My only suggestion is to tone down the music so I can hear them and consider more mellow music to relax the mind. The loud/dance music takes away from the vibe for HPF.
There was a huge merch selection and the instructors seem very nice.
The instructor was fun and instructions were clear.
I rarely offer feedback. I take from a range of teachers and always try to find value in what each teacher brings. However, I almost walked out of Maureen's class and am thus compelled to offer feedback.
While providing an excellent physical sequence with well thought out postures and unique modifications, Maureen lacked thoughtful timing in cue-ing postures, talked too much to cue from one posture to the next disrupting breath flow, chose overly complex language that lacked clarity and disrupted the flow from posture to posture, utilized gendered language that felt dated and out of touch with the yoga community, spoke in an incredibly inauthentic voice that sounded more like an over rehearsed TED talk than a yoga teacher, chose language prompts about courage that were more diminishing than inspiring, and most critically Maureen NEVER stopped speaking throughout the entire class - including during Shavasana, where she talked through the entire meditation. When she called us out of final resting pose, I was shocked it was over, because we had never been allowed a single breath of quiet. Throughout the entire class, there was not a single moment of quiet to allow students to listen to themselves or their own breath.
It's clear this teacher brings a wealth of knowledge to their work, but their cueing and speaking need serious editing and clarifying.
Mellow flow during hot yoga bc it gets SO HOT. Cool towels at the end were amazing too
The instructors at Del Mar CorePower are dedicated and each share their unique style throughout the classes!
Core Power teachers are amazing.
I love the schedule and the opportunity to attend classes in morning or afternoon. The only thing I would change is not the teachers. It is the people that attend. It has turned into a non-relaxing environment before class starts. Where I used to go to just chill out before class began now it is full of people talking Very loudly - numerous conversations that continue until class begins. I really wish that someone from the staff would come in and ask them to be quiet or without having me go out and ask them to attend to the noise if they would just periodically pop in and remind people this is the calm space.
Great studio, temperature & humidity is perfect. Instructor is excellent
Classes that promote body, mind and spirit taught by incredible instructors!
PB is the best.
We go to the Encinitas location specifically for Alex's class. He is wonderful.
Great location, staff and facility.
My wife has been dragging me to yoga on and off for a few weeks. While I am still not completely enjoying it, I think it is beneficial. The people and the experience are as good as i could expect. I have enjoyed some more of the more upbeat music. Everyone is very nice.
Clean studio, friendly & non judge mental greeting, genuine care, liberating experience. Hope to go back!
