I would say always pre register for your spot so you are guaranteed a parking spot for your trip. Very easy and convenient from start to finish, whether it’s making a reservation, using the bar code to enter the lot, the friendly attendant at the front gate, finding an parking spot, the quick response of the bus driver to your spot to pick you up and his help loading or unloading your luggage, the short amount of time, if any, to wait for the return pick up from the airport back to the lot after your trip, and then the exit from the facility using the bar code again.
