The facility is kept very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. There are enough stations to ensure there is little to no wait time between exercises.
It was clean. Night staff was nice and welcoming. People weren’t just sitting at the machines on their phone. They used it and moved on. Didn’t see many people wiping down machines before or after use though. It didn’t matter because I do both.
The atmosphere, less crowed, and plenty of equipment. I am very pleased with what I see and hear.

I love planet fitness but the Elizabeth City location is too small and overcrowded. I think it would be a great idea to build a new larger location in the Tanglewood/halstead area of Elizabeth City especially since that part of town is starting to grow exponentially with new businesses.
The gym is always clean and it's nice seeing everyone at different points in their fitness journeys getting along and not judging one another. Staff is always kind and helpful aswell so that's a huge plus.
Staff is very nice
The staff was really nice to me and the place was really clean they kept everything organized and I had a great workout there with their amazing equipment the people there also helped me to start my workout plan and taught me everything to do!
Marc and Beth are really outstanding staff members - very welcoming and friendly with all members. Beth in particular keeps the club and bathrooms immaculate. It’s a great place to workout.
Great so far! Only one complaint - tanning beds need to be cleaned by staff more often. The spray and thin paper towels supplied to members does not clean tanning lotion combined with sweat off beds very well.
