I have been using Platinum Performance for years and have been very pleased with the results. Not only has it helped the appearance of my horses but I also believe it has enhanced their overall health. I don’t worry about them not having good nutrition. The Platinum Performance bars are excellent take along snacks for my horse on trail too. He also looks forward to his reward after a ride! I also use them to insure the eating of any pills administered..equinox for my old guy.
One of the best features about using Platinum is the ability to use one product for all our horses. The older gelding who is not ridden much is given a half dose, the broodmares are on a full dose and that will be increased as they get closer to foaling and can then be increased again while they are nursing. We feed Alfalfa cubes as a baseline feed but most of our horses get about 1/2 of their ration from forage mix hay, or a tested grass hay if they are sensitive to high sugar levels. The only grain we feed is one of the Platinum scoops of COB (corn, oat, barley mix) without added molasses. We found that if kept in the same pen our horses can not move another horse away from their Platinum if a little grain is involved. Gilroylee
